If the weather is clear and you are interested in seeing the sunset from Poonhill, then hike up to Poon Hill, which is about 45 minutes to an hour walk from Ghorepani, so consult with your guide. However, you are going for sunrise in the morning.

                      • Nepal is beautiful!

                        - Alexandra, Australia

The tour was incredibly well organized and accommodated continuously to give us the best opportunity to maximize the marvelous views. I am not normally one for pre-arranged group trips but this tour was excellent. Rugged Trails was adaptive and strived to ensure every meal and bed on the trip was the best possible option, providing a clear advantage over other operators. Their supreme knowledge and experience of the region were clearly evident, offering insightful information along the way.

                        - Persis, Singapore

Rugged Trails Nepal rocks! My recent trip to Chitwan and Pokhara was made even better thanks to Rugged Trails Nepal's expert guidance and knowledge of the country. Nirajan, the director of Rugged Trails Nepal has a knack for being able to effortlessly and quickly arrange trips at the drop of a hat if needed. You can trust him and his guides to get the job done and to go that extra mile for all guests and clients.
He was able to arrange a jungle safari and river cruise in Chitwan National Park according to my physical limitations as well as an exciting paragliding experience at Pokhara.
Nirajan's extensive network in Nepal and his experienced pool of guides will not only ensure your safety during easy or challenging trips within the country, but they also try very hard to ensure your journey is as smooth as butter. I highly recommend Rugged Trails Nepal for your next trip to Nepal. I know I will be using them on mine.

I get in touch with them online, so when I arrived everything was fixed, they seré really nice, Shrawan was always taking care of me, my beginning I  supposed to do a volunteer But I had a really hard time with the languages, I didn't know I was going to be the only one and nobody speaks English at the place I was, so I left, I would like to know that before... But after that Shrawan took me to his Village and show me his beautiful place, everyone was really nice with me and they were all making me feel like home, even with the language problems, I meet really nice and good heart people there, that I will remember always, after a few days I get a jungle Safari and a Ghorepani trek with them and it was a really nice experience, everything was well done if you want to get in touch with local people and get a personal treatment that is the company you need
