Annapurna Circuit Trekking is known as one of the best hiking destinations in the world and offers an incredible experience to hikers. This trek shares all that Nepal has to offer. Many Annapurna circuit treks start from Besisahar, but nowadays, because of the roadways, trekkers drive directly to Chamje or Syange. Heading through the rugged trail, it reaches Manang village. Tibetan Buddhism has a significant influence on it.
The climb over Thorong La Pass reaches an elevation of 17,769 ft and is a challenging yet beautiful highlight of the trip. Trekkers have the opportunity to view the Himalayan range as Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna (8091m), Manaslu (8163m), Fishtail, Lamjung Himal, Himchilu, Tukuche Peak, and Tilicho Peak, among others.
Muktinath, on the other side of the Annapurna region, is a sacred place for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. Muktinath Temple is the central attraction here. Then, heading through the Kali Gandaki gorge, the trek joins the Ghorepani Poon Hill via a natural hot spring in Tatopani. The sunrise view and mountain views are breathtaking.
Following the trail, it reaches Nayapul and drives to Pokhara. Oak, rhododendron, and other sub-tropical to alpine vegetation in flora and wild animals such as mountain goats, leopards, and jackals, birds such as pheasants, and long-tail birds in the fauna are found in the round Annapurna trekking. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for this trekking, which is almost impossible in the winter or becomes extremely adventurous due to the heavy icefall.
