The best 5 days short trek to Mardi Himal starts from Pokhara and ends at Pokhara and is one of the best-selling trekking destinations in Annapurna Region. Seriously, within a few days of walking, we can reach the top of Mardi Himal viewpoint, and Mt. Fishtail will be just in front of us. You will feel higher, and everything will be below you. The best short trek to Mardi Himal starts from Pokharaand ends at Pokhara. There are few people who have heard about the Mardi Himal Trek because Ghorepani Poonhill has always been highlighted.

So why choose the Short Mardi Himal Trek from Pokhara? As we already mentioned, the excellent view of Mt. Fishtail is not only the Fishtail because we can also see the amazing views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Baraha Shikhar, Singu Chuli, Annapurna I, and obviously the Mardi Himal Peak. The dramatic transformation of the landscapes is another significant aspect of this trek. Walking from the dense sub-tropical jungles to the ridge after a few hours feels as if someone is tugging at your ropes.

Rugged Trails Nepal: One of the best-selling yoga retreats in Nepal is Mardi Himal, which starts in Pokhara. We chose this trail because it’s peaceful and has a special kind of energy that we can feel during the excursion. During the spring, we can see colorful rhododendrons, and they look very pretty. The short trek to Mardi Himal is always beautiful because of the landscapes that change by the season from greenery to dryness but still look colorful. During the winter, from mid-February to mid-March, it may not be possible to reach Mardi Himal High Camp or the viewpoint because of heavy snowfall.

Simply put, this trek is Rugged Trails Nepal guides favorite trek too, and they haven’t seen the disappointment in the client's face after joining for this trek. Nature is indescribable in words, but check out our Mardi Himal Trek videos and pictures to see why you chose this trip. From Badal Danda (Clouds Hills Middle Camp), the view is spectacular, and we had to pick the overnight places with the photography view.

The 5 days Mardi Himal Trek itinerary plan is a perfect trip for beginners as well. Generally, from 4-5-year-old kids to 75-80 years old, people have joined us, and we haven’t faced such an altitude sickness problem. But physical fitness is most important to trekking in Nepal, whether it’s Poon Hill or Everest Base Camp. If you are worried and feel like you can’t reach the viewpoint (4200 M)  and to Mardi Base Camp (4,500 M/14,764 ft), then from a lower elevation we can also see the beautiful views.

Food can be ordered from the menu, and the tea houses are decent but also provide nice service. The guides from Rugged Trails Nepal will provide warm blankets or sleeping bags. For further details and questions, feel free to write to us; we are always happy to get back to you with the information.

FAQs

Packing list for the Short Mardi Himal Trek

You do not need any specialized equipment for the short Mardi Himal Trek. Whether it's summer or winter, the most essential gear to have is trekking boots, thick coats, sunscreen (SpF 20), a backpack, a headlamp, and warm socks and pants. On our website, click the link to get a list of further required hiking equipment.

Will I be safe on this Trek if I am traveling alone?

For female travelers traveling alone, we have planned many hiking itineraries around Nepal. Since you have invested in us and don't want bad memories, Nepalese people are nice and it is our company's major goal to make your trip unforgettable. We cherish our customers, whether they are traveling in a group or alone as women. We want to reassure you that you will be in good hands, despite the fact that just because we say wonderful things doesn't imply we're the greatest. Instead, you should read our customers' testimonials.

Does Mardi Trek meet my criteria for luxury?

I'll go up front and tell that this is not a luxury trip; there are no facilities or linked accommodations on this walk. Mardi Trip is ideal if you want to enjoy the spectacular views and traditional tea houses, but a luxury trek may indeed be organized for Ghorepani Ghandruk or the 14-day Everest trek.

Cellphone or WIFI connections are available

The majority of tea shops don't have WiFi because of the lightning, although some tea shops do offer WiFi via mobile data. Throughout the trek, our guide will be in contact with us at all times, so if you wish to connect with family, he or she may assist you.

What if I want to shower while hiking?

On the short Mardi Himal Trek, it is available everywhere, although the fee of the shower is an additional $1 to $5.

Do I need Travel Insurance for the Mardi Himal Trek?

Yes, you absolutely must have travel insurance for your personal security. Your medical costs, a helicopter rescue, and many other things will be covered by your insurance. Do not freak out if you become sick while on the hike! Just don't be afraid to tell the guide about your issue. Depending on the severity of your illness, our guide will take appropriate action.

Useful Information

  • During the heavy snowfall in winter at Mardi Himal viewpoint and Base Camp, a visit is not possible.

The guide (Yogi) was excellent, and the view was amazing! We had only 3 days, and I feel we managed to get the Himalaya experience during these days.

  • Beautifully organized 4 days mardi himal trek

    - Tania Marie, Australia

I had a great trip and we had nice clear views which am grateful for. Indra (my guide) was great, he obviously has a lot of experience, let me go my pace, and seemed to always be looking out for me. Very attentive! He was really helpful I felt very comfortable trekking with him. Very knowledgeable, keeping an eye on the view, etc so I could go out and get a good picture of that kind of thing.
