In September 2016, Rugged Trails Nepal had the honor of acting as the travel planner for Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin during his historic visit to Nepal. Organized alongside the Everest Science Center Nepal (ESCN), the trip featured an exclusive public event titled "An Intergalactic Encounter with Buzz Aldrin in Nepal" at the Kamaladi Academic Hall in Kathmandu. During this once-in-a-lifetime gathering, Aldrin—the second man to walk on the moon during the iconic 1969 mission—shared his firsthand experiences and insights on space exploration with an excited audience, marking a memorable highlight in Rugged Trails Nepal's journey.

In this exclusive event, which we call An Intergalactic Encounter with Astronaut Buzz Aldrin in Nepal, which will be organized by the Everest Science Center Nepal from the 7th to the 8th of September 2016, Buzz will share his experiences of landing and walking on the moon.
The event will take place from 14:30 pm onwards at Kamaladi Academic Hall (NEPAL PRAGYA BHAWABAN).
