Wake An early breakfast will be provided for you before you board the plane for Lukla. From the domestic airport in Kathmandu, we will fly for 35 to 40 minutes to Lukla. On a hillside surrounded by mountain peaks, take in one of the most breathtaking air routes in the whole globe. Our trek's starting point, the airport in Lukla, is where we will meet the rest of our team. A leisurely stroll via Chaurikharkha hamlet, Mt. Khumbila, and the monastery leads to Phakding village. Stay the night in Phakding.
Due to an early flight to Lukla, we won't be able to practice yoga this morning; instead, the session will be in the evening.
The Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu Airport might change from Manthali airport which is 4 hrs drive from Kathmandu. In such a case, we will need to wake up 3 in the morning and before going to bed please pack your bag.
- Day: 4
April 7 2025: Phakding Trek to Namche Bazaar
The journey into Namche Bazaar, via Chumoa to Monjo, and the entrance to Everest National Park, is what you hear about the most on this day. It involves trekking through a lovely pine forest and along the Dudh Koshi River. Then, after passing through Jorsale hamlet and a suspension bridge, we continue to trek beside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. As a result of the route's high volume of travelers, you'll frequently run with locals, other tourists, and eventually Yak and porter traffic. It is notorious for its continuous, long steep ascents uphill that bring us to Namche Bazaar, the major Sherpa village center. We can see Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse as we approach Namche Bazaar, which is a distance of one hour away. In Namche Bazaar, spend the night.
Yoga in the morning at the lodges, sometime it will be inside the lodges or it will be outdoor yoga.
- Day: 5
April 8 2025: Acclimatisation Day - Namche Bazaar.
There are many things to do in and around Namche Bazaar. Each morning, we awaken to a stunning sunrise over the majestic mountains as we watch from our room. Let me clarify a major misconception you may have concerning the acclimatization day. Don't assume that after the arduous climb to arrive to Namche Bazaar you'll spend today lounging around the lodges or doing some local shopping since acclimatization day is nothing like a rest day; it's something quite different. We'll take you to experience Namche Bazaar's true charm. We will thus begin the short climb up to the Everest View Hotel after breakfast so that we may see the views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, and other mountains. We will do yoga practice at the top of Namche valley and the Everest at the backdrop. Overnight at Namche. Morning Yoga at the Namche Top and evening at the Monastery. Day hike up to 3,700 m (12,139 ft)
Namche is the last stop where you can buy all the necessary things if you have forgotten anything. Strolling around Namche is also a nice way to spend days and there are some monasteries where we try to manage an evening yoga spot.
- Day: 6
April 9 2025: Namche Bazaar Trek to Phortse Thanga.
We ascend the routes out of the valley steeply through a rhododendron woodland. As the height rises, juniper and huge conifers start to appear. The walk is stunning in the spring. The Khumjung hill and yak Kharkas are both traversed along the path. We travel to Mohang, the birthplace of the reincarnated Tibetan Lama from Rongbuk Monastery, who is credited with bringing Buddhism to Nepal's Khumbu area. The views of Tawache peak and KhumbiLa are breathtaking all throughout the day. In Phortse Thanga, spend the night.
Morning and evening yoga sessions.
- Day: 7
April 10 2025: Phortse Thanga Trek to Machhermo.
The route ascends to Machhermo, where it reaches a peak with a great vantage point for seeing down the valley to Kengtega and up towards Cho Oyu, descends to a river, and then rises steeply once more to the Ngozumoz glacier's terminal moraine. Before arriving to Tongba Village, go alongside a rhododendron grove and pass through a waterfall. This day's compositional guidelines for photography will benefit greatly from the lengthy mountain valleys nearby. Spend the night at Machhermo.
- Day: 8
April 11 2025: Machhermo Trek to Gokyo.
We take a really beautiful route to Pangka, then we drop to the riverbed and ascend up a hard terrain to the terminal moraine of the Ngazumpa Glacier. After passing the first of the holy lakes, we ascend a steep, rocky slope into the valley near the glacier. On a piece of stone, we can see llama footprints. We quickly reach the second lakes and pass over to Cho La, the trail that would lead us later in the hike to Lobuche and Everest. The beautiful turquoise blue sheet of water that is gleaming in the light captures our attention, Taboche Tsho. The town of Gokyo is located on the eastern coast of the third lake, Dudh Pokhari. Walking by the side of the lake, the scenery is breathtaking with the summits of Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang reflected in its emerald green waters.
- Day: 9
April 12 2025: Gokyo Valley Acclimatisation Day - Hike to Gokyo Ri (viewpoint) 5,400 M (17,717 ft).
We will ascend Gokyo Ri, a well-known viewpoint, after the morning yoga practice and brunch to take in the breathtaking mountain views. We have breathtaking views of the Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu summits from the viewpoint, which is situated at the edge of the Fifth Lake. The Ngozumba Glacier, the largest glacier in the world, will also be visible to us. This stunning setting will provide the ideal opportunity for the picture. Sleep at Gokyo Valley.
- Day: 10
April 13 2025: Gokyo Trek to Thagnak.
Today, we'll do a little hike through Nepal's longest glacier, the Ngazumpa glacier. We will continue practicing yoga in the afternoon while exploring the adjacent hills on Thagnak. However, today's hike will be almost effortless and restorative, which will get us ready for future days of extended hiking and ascent. A brief period of slippery terrain is followed by another descent via a big boulder and an easy stroll to the Zongla.
- Day: 11
April 14 2025: Thaknak Trek to Dzongla Village via Cho-la Pass 5,420 M (17,782 ft).
We are currently on the longest and most difficult day of the entire journey. We're not trying to scare you, but it's an exciting aspect of our journey. Although the Cho La pass is not inherently difficult, we must exercise caution because it is steep and incorporates a glacier. The route from Phedi ascends along a steep terrain and a ravine. We hike across a frozen lake's edge to the top of the pass, which is festooned with prayer flags. At the end of Dzongla, the route descends through a large rock after a brief period of ice terrain. Great views of the Cholatse, Ama Dablam, and Lobuche mountains can be seen from Dzongla. Stay the night at Dzongla.
- Day: 12
April 15 2025: Dzongla Trek to Lobuche.
Let's begin a relatively short journey to Lobuche this morning instead than dwelling on the strenuous hike from the day before. Very brief, with plenty of time to unwind and take in the beauty of our surroundings.
- Day: 13
April 16 2025: Lobuche - Gorak Shep 5,164 M (16,942 ft) - Everest Base Camp 5,380 M (17,600 ft) - Gorak Shep.
Following the morning session, a difficult and rough trek goes to Gorakshep. Amazing vistas of mountains including Mount Everest, Mount Nuptse, Mount Pumori, and others can be seen as you travel along the path. We will put our luggage off when we get to Gorakshep, have a little stop for tea, and then hike to Everest Base Camp. The thin air makes the hike to Base Camp difficult, so we carefully follow our lead Sherpa. Before arriving at the Everest Base Camp, we go over stony dunes, moraines, and streams. When we get at the Everest Base Camp, we find mountaineers' tents, which we will see a lot more in the spring. We return to Gorak Shep after seeing Everest Base Camp. In Gorak Shep, spend the night.
- Day: 14
April 17 2025: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar 5,545 M (18,192 ft) and Trek to Pheriche.
We'll get up early this morning to trek to Kala Patthar, the highest point on our journey, where we'll catch the sunrise and enjoy a commanding 360-degree vista of Mount Everest. Cold winds will accompany the -10 to -14 C temperature range. After standing on top of here and witnessing the tallest mountains in the world, we had witnessed several individuals crying. On top of the globe, we are practicing yoga positions while also having spare time for photography. Following our yoga and photography sessions, we'll climb back to Gorakshep in the afternoon before heading down to the settlement of Pheriche.
- Day: 15
April 18 2025: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar.
Following a morning yoga practice and brunch, we continue our downward trek between juniper and rhododendron woods. As we follow the Dudh Koshi River through the forest, we can see beautiful pheasants and mountain goats. We will visit Thyangboche Monastery, one of the largest and most well-known Buddhist sites in the world. A few of the Himalayan giants that can be seen from here are Kwangde, Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega, and Thamserku.
- Day: 16
April 19 2025: Namche Bazaar Trek to Lukla.
We will be returning by foot to the point where our day two trip from Phakding to Namche began. We must proceed with caution as our wobbly legs struggle against the uneven ground. Once we cross the suspension bridges across the Dudh Koshi River, the route resumes its more usual state. Finally, we'll get a chance to get some exercise, and tonight is the last one in which you may say hello to and offer advice to our team, who joined from Lukla and traveled all the way to Everest base camp.
- Day: 17
April 20 2025: Fly to Kathmandu.
