Land of Lord Buddha

Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Rugged Trails Nepal who will take to your hotel. Welcome drinks upon arrival at the hotel, free time until 6 pm. Evening welcome dinner in a traditional Nepali Restaurant with authentic Nepali cuisine and cultural program.

If your arriving time is late after 6 pm then the dinner will be arranged in next day but our team will care to take you for food in the evening if you need an assistant.

After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will be at the hotel to receive you. Our luxury bus will also be ready for your first day in Kathmandu. You will be transferred to Boudha for your first sightseeing. The sightseeing will last around two hours where you will see one of the biggest Buddha stupas in the world. Your tour guide will explain you in detail about the history of the place. After the sightseeing, you will be transferred to Kopan Monastery where you will spend about 1hour. You will be then transferred to one of the best restaurants for Lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to another important Buddhist religious site Swayambhu which is also known as the Monkey Temple. You will be transferred to the hotel after the sightseeing and dinner will be at the hotel.

Today we will fly to Lumbini for an early sightseeing of the birthplace of Lord Buddha and many other monasteries built by different countries.

Sightseeing tour of Lumbini and later transfer to airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Late afternoon if time permits visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and do last minute shopping in Thamel. In the evening cultural program followed by the Nepali dinner.
