Yoga Trekking to EBC
It has been some years I want to have trekking in Nepal. When I retired last years, I join the Yoga Trekking to EBC from Rugged Trials Nepal. I have my journey with my wife. We start our first trip from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then Mardi Himal that took one week. We were so shocking when we saw the Machhapuchhre (fish tail) one morning . The mountain shines under the sun like it is covered with gold. It is amazing. It was a wonderful trip. After that we had a two weeks Yoga trekking to EBC. During that trek, we ran through high mountains, glaciers, rocking falling pass and lakes. We never imagine the scenery are so great and unforgetable. Our guide Mr. Indra are so professional . He took care all of our teammates ( total eight from all over the world) and show us the wonderful scenery. The Yoga Master is also a good tutor to guide us perform yoga during the trip. It was an amazing trekking I never forget. Thank to Rugged Trails Nepal, we enjoy this trip so much and much thanks to our guide, assistant guide and all porters.
Unexpected Everest Yoga Trek Experience
In October 2018, I visited Nepal again and again in this beautiful and special place. It was my second time on the Rugged Trails Nepal. This time it was very special. I took a yoga walk. At first, I just wanted to go hiking after doing yoga in the morning. I didn't think too much. But when I started to walk on yoga, I slowly realized that it is a good arrangement to do yoga every morning after yoga. Because there are many lacing movements in the yoga movement, it helps to walk. Every time you do yoga, you are in a different environment. When you do yoga in an environment with beautiful scenery and snowy mountains, there is really a sense of peace and relaxation. The natural beauty of the different snow mountains can be seen every day on the 18-day trek. The daily travel time is not too long. Getting to the Guest House daily has plenty of time to rest. And everyone gathers dinner every night, just like a big family, sharing stories. Thanks to the Everest Base Camp Yoga Trekking arranged by Rugged Trails Nepal, this is really an unforgettable experience, and Nirajan has all the careful and professional arrangements.
Life Changing Everest Base Camp Trek Best Guides Around
I was the solo woman on a trip with 9 other guys who were Iron Men and high-altitude runners and lots of other intimidating things. I went with my 65-year old dad, his Plummer, and a bunch of (it turns out) amazing guys. What an adventure! I can say without a doubt that Rugged Trails was THE BEST tour guide company to go with. I saw and heard from other people who had guides were not personable, fluent in English, or engaged. We had all that with Deepak and Nirajan and Indra AND they were fun and incredibly skilled and made us feel safe, uplifted, and entertained the whole time. You never know what you are going to get the booking with a foreign company, and we had moments of wondering what we were getting ourselves into, but from the moment we got off the plane to the moment, we had dinner together the last night everything was professional, thoughtful, and memorable. We also had some complications on our trip with illness and everyone made it safely down due to Indra's incredible connections and quick thinking. He also got us on a plane out of Lukla when it was crazy busy, which my brother had tried to do without a guide and had to stay for DAYS. I wouldn't go with anyone else but these guys again. Unforgettable Experience My Yoga Trek To The Everest Base Camp
Doing this trek was one of my dreams, and even better with yoga. They were 18 days in good company (a small group with 8 persons) and good humor even in some difficult times in the mountains. Nirajan contacted me since I booked the trip, always listening to my questions. Our guide Indra was also very attentive and tried to always do the best for the group. The yoga teacher did what he could so that we could continue doing yoga, despite the low temperatures. The other members of the team were also very nice: the porter and of course Jeeban! The experience of this agency is truly unforgettable I hope to be able to repeat with them on another trek. Namasté Copied From (Tripadvisor)
My team literally carried me
Well, folks, I would say I did a very good job for my age. It was really not easy, but my guide and the porter were undoubtedly amazing. Thank you, Bipin, for carrying all my stuff and encouraging me. I almost felt like i am going to quit while walking up to Namche on the second day but my team literally carried me. Blindly and confidently recommend rugged trails team. Nirajan is so kind, replies to all my questions, and is always on time. I am happy i did reach the view point and not happy that i couldn't think myself up to Everest Base Camp.
Well organized and very professional!Mardi Himal Yoga Trek best yoga trek ever!
We were in small groups of friend and were looking for a short yoga retreat in Nepal. All we were looking for is a peaceful mountain and the place where we can meditate. We were confused which trip to choose because of too many yoga trek packages for the same area and somewhere longer too. Rugged Trails Nepal Everest Yoga trek video was impressive and we started talking with Nirajan. I felt like right on the spot with the right person, he immediately suggest us for Mardi Himal Yoga Trek. From the beginning, he was friendly and sharing all the information which were really helpful. He sends us plenty of pictures of Mardi Trek routes to make sure the place is beautiful and peaceful. All of us were so excited after seeing the pictures and the way he was explaining the place. He was so easy and available all the time and happily answered hundreds of our silly questions. Thank you Nirajan!
I actually like the trip plan because Mardi Himal trek route is soo mixed with different terrain and the climate. Amazing mountains and peaceful walk. The distance of tea houses was no longer than 4-5 hours which was another beautiful part of this trip. We had enough time for Morning yoga, meditation, and laughter time. Seriously the team of Nirajan was just amazing, Dipak was funny and giving a smile even he is was tired. Surojan was perfect yoga master thank you Surojan. Singing dancing and drinking with porters was another memorial part of this trip which we will never forget. All of us were quite anxious because a group of girls and all the staffs were boys but Nirajan assure about the safety and he promised to treat us family members. He welcomed us and gave us comfort before heading to the mountains. He is so kind and caretaker and making sure everything is good. Nirajan keep up your good spirits, you have a great team. We will be back again for sure!
Little suggestion please try to change one day plan instead of staying in Low Camp Badal danda is more suitable and the view is just amazing. People will love this place.
Great Yoga Trek to Mardi Himal
Really a good trip, well organized on such a short notice from us. Had lots of fun, meet great people. Learned some yoga and breathing exercise, learned lots about the culture. Surjon did great, gave us lots of information. Organized all food and accommodation, yoga was amazing, had good laughs with him. Weather was cloudy most days, clear in the morning and awesome in the morning at the highest point (Mardi Upper ViewPoint). I would suggest Rugged Trails Nepal to make a paper copy of the itinerary with the guide. I just like to know but had no internet in the mountains to check online. An extra night at High Camp would be great, just in case if the weather gets cloudy. Surjon is a super fast walker!, couldn't quite keep up with him when he was at the front.
Great idea to combine Mardi Trek with Yoga
Mardi Himal very clear in the morning/ to get the view at viewpoint had to go early but was worth it!. Surojan very great yoga instructor and knowledgable about the History, traditions of the Nepalese. Made a fun experience. Meet a lot of great people, was a great view from the top. Very rewarding experience the Yoga part of the trek was possibly my highlight on a clear morning in the Mountains. Many fellow hikers were also very interested in the idea of a Yoga Trek!
Suggesation: One of the days from Mid Camp to high camp was quite short (2hrs). Perhaps could have done this from the Forest camp which would give us an extra day near the top.
