  • Mardi Himal Yoga Trek best yoga trek ever!

We were in small groups of friend and were looking for a short yoga retreat in Nepal. All we were looking for is a peaceful mountain and the place where we can meditate. We were confused which trip to choose because of too many yoga trek packages for the same area and somewhere longer too. Rugged Trails Nepal Everest Yoga trek video was impressive and we started talking with Nirajan. I felt like right on the spot with the right person, he immediately suggest us for Mardi Himal Yoga Trek. From the beginning, he was friendly and sharing all the information which were really helpful. He sends us plenty of pictures of Mardi Trek routes to make sure the place is beautiful and peaceful. All of us were so excited after seeing the pictures and the way he was explaining the place. He was so easy and available all the time and happily answered hundreds of our silly questions. Thank you Nirajan!

I actually like the trip plan because Mardi Himal trek route is soo mixed with different terrain and the climate. Amazing mountains and peaceful walk. The distance of tea houses was no longer than 4-5 hours which was another beautiful part of this trip. We had enough time for Morning yoga, meditation, and laughter time. Seriously the team of Nirajan was just amazing, Dipak was funny and giving a smile even he is was tired. Surojan was perfect yoga master thank you Surojan. Singing dancing and drinking with porters was another memorial part of this trip which we will never forget. All of us were quite anxious because a group of girls and all the staffs were boys but Nirajan assure about the safety and he promised to treat us family members. He welcomed us and gave us comfort before heading to the mountains. He is so kind and caretaker and making sure everything is good. Nirajan keep up your good spirits, you have a great team. We will be back again for sure!

Little suggestion please try to change one day plan instead of staying in Low Camp Badal danda is more suitable and the view is just amazing. People will love this place.

  • Great Yoga Trek to Mardi Himal

Really a good trip, well organized on such a short notice from us. Had lots of fun, meet great people. Learned some yoga and breathing exercise, learned lots about the culture. Surjon did great, gave us lots of information. Organized all food and accommodation, yoga was amazing, had good laughs with him. Weather was cloudy most days, clear in the morning and awesome in the morning at the highest point (Mardi Upper ViewPoint). I would suggest Rugged Trails Nepal to make a paper copy of the itinerary with the guide. I just like to know but had no internet in the mountains to check online. An extra night at High Camp would be great, just in case if the weather gets cloudy. Surjon is a super fast walker!, couldn't quite keep up with him when he was at the front.

  • Great idea to combine Mardi Trek with Yoga

Mardi Himal very clear in the morning/ to get the view at viewpoint had to go early but was worth it!. Surojan very great yoga instructor and knowledgable about the History, traditions of the Nepalese. Made a fun experience. Meet a lot of great people, was a great view from the top. Very rewarding experience the Yoga part of the trek was possibly my highlight on a clear morning in the Mountains. Many fellow hikers were also very interested in the idea of a Yoga Trek!

Suggesation: One of the days from Mid Camp to high camp was quite short (2hrs). Perhaps could have done this from the Forest camp which would give us an extra day near the top.

  • Top Notch Mardi Himal Trek

Extremely well organised. Nirajan made everything super easy and was an absolute gent. Depak and Jivan (our guide and porter) were very caring, knowledgeable and great company. The trek was amazing and made better by the experienced recommendations of Nirajan and Depak. Would definitely recommend. Cheers, Rugged Trails!!

Originally, Hayley and Paul had booked for Machhapuchhre Model Trek but later changed their mind for Mardi Himal Yoga Trek itinerary trip plan.  This review was copied from Tripadvisor.

  • Great way to get out from Dusty Kathmandu.

Nagarkot is a nice place to get the fresh air. Weather wasn't good but the guide made a day with his funny jokes. Price was expensive but worthy.
His English was fluent and very knowledgeable about cultures. Before doing Nagarkot i had booked dhampus hike with another company and price was less but guide barely speaks English. Don't roam around these guys are best in the town!

  • Everest Base Camp March - April 2018

Well what can I say, These guys were and are awesome. Nirajan went above and beyond when one of our party had to come down due to illness. So trustworthy always giving advice when asked nothing was to much trouble. Our guide Indra was amazing his knowledge and experience made the trip for me. If your looking to go trekking these are the guys for you !! Seriously look no further.
Namaste guys. "Andy wrote this on our Tripadvisor after doing Everest Base Camp Trekking."

  • My Mardi Himal Yoga Trek

I enjoyed very much this diversified trail nestled in a beautiful landscape, Nature and its Magic Forest with the mountains behind. It was just perfect and a good mixture with Yoga, Trekking and enjoying the Nature :-) Thank you for this nice experience. - Claudia from Switzerland

  • Everest Base Camp and Gokyo lake Yoga Trek

This is the second time for me as I go through Rugged Trail Nepal and once again it was perfect. The first agency: Nirajan from the start is to listen and even before arriving in Nepal and answers all your questions on the trek or the habits and customs of Nepal. It does not offer as high mountain treks, do not hesitate to ask I'm sure he will be happy to advise you (and help organize) to your experience and your visit Nepal is closest to your expectations. People working here, cultural guides, mountain, yoga teachers, porters, drivers are also all pleasant, friendly and competent in their fields. The trek: what to say except... Wow. What an adventure. Wonderful, intense, imposing a transcendence and rewarding in every way.

The first Gokyo lakes are a beauty .. The view from Gokyo Ri worth the effort of the climb. Thanks to the skill of our guides, Indra Djorge and Nirajan himself, and using huge porters, we all could cross the difficult passage of Chola. And finally, reach the first base camp of Everest. All this in addition to yoga (Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek) lessons morning and evening (more than 4000m) in beautiful and conducive to exercise places: wilderness facing the mountain, wherein monasteries .. Thanks, Surojan. And the group. Thank you to all: Christina, Natalie, Nina, Tejas, Fabienne, Husch, Bob, and Denise. We were all from different backgrounds but with the same desire to be in these mountains. And thank you for your patience with my English / French;) I could write a novel about this experience so it was wonderful to me... It leaves a part of you .. Do not hesitate. Certainly, it's intense physically but efforts are well rewarded .. If it again? I come back tomorrow !! Thank you again Rugged Trail Nepal have made this possible.
