Baruntse Expedition

Mt. Baruntse (7129 m) is located in the Makalu-Barun mountain region of eastern Nepal. Situated just in front of Mt. Makalu and in the center of three famous glacier valleys of the region, it is surrounded by some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas, like Makalu, Lhotse, and Nuptse. The Baruntse expedition is not technically challenging like neighboring mountains Amadablam and Pumori, although climbers should have a good experience of snow and ice climbing.
