Pokhara Drive To Nayapul Trek to Ghandruk
Take a 1-hour drive to Nayapul, followed by a 6–7-hour trek (9 km) through Syauli Bazar and Kimche. Spend the night in Ghandruk (2,200m), where you can explore the Gurung culture.
Ghandruk Village Trek to Chhomrong
Witness a magnificent Himalayan sunrise on your first day in Ghandruk. The trek starts with a descent to the Kimrong River, followed by a strenuous ascent through villages and switchbacks. After about five hours of moderate hiking (around 10 km, 2170m), you'll reach Chhomrong, a charming Gurung village with stunning views of Mt. Fishtail and the Annapurna range. Enjoy lunch and an overnight stay with meals provided, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas.
Chhomrong Trek to Dovan (Himalaya)
After a scenic breakfast overlooking the Himalayas, descend stone stairs to cross the Chhomrong Khola via a wooden bridge. The trek then enters the Annapurna Conservation Area, winding through vibrant rhododendron, juniper, birch, and fir forests alongside the Modi River. Enjoy a gradual ascent to a carefully chosen lunch spot with stunning views. This 6-7 hour moderate hike covers approximately 15 km, reaching an altitude of 2920m for an overnight stay in the Himalayas, with meals provided amidst views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhre.
Dovan Trek to MBC
The 4-5 hour, 7km trek from Dovan (2600m) to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m) begins by following the Modi Khola, gradually ascending from dense forests into open terrain. You'll pass Hinku Cave for a break before continuing uphill to Deurali (3230m) for lunch. The final leg traverses alpine forests and rockier paths, culminating at MBC with breathtaking panoramic views of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna Massif, where you'll stay overnight before heading to Annapurna Base Camp.
MBC Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
The short 2-3 hour, 2.5km trek from Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) is a relatively gentle ascent through rocky paths, potential snow patches, and alpine meadows. Enjoy increasingly breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna Massif, including Annapurna I, South, and Hiunchuli, within the vast Annapurna Sanctuary. After a morning meal and a final appreciation of the stunning Annapurna Base Camp, begin the 6:30 to 7-hour, 15km descent to Bamboo (2310 m/7507 ft) for an overnight stay at a mountain lodge.
Bamboo Trek to Jhinu Danda and back to Pokhara
The 5–6-hour, 8.5-kilometer moderate trek from Bamboo involves retracing the path up to Chhomrong Village before descending for approximately 2 hours along a rural footpath to Jhinu Danda (1740m), famous for its natural hot spring. Upon arrival in Jhinu Danda, you can choose to visit the hot spring with your guide or proceed to Pokhara after crossing the Jhinu Bridge.
