Yala Peak located at 5,500 meters in the Langtang region of Nepal bordering Tibet, is perfect for those looking for an unforgettable Himalayan mountain climbing experience, but who do not have previous mountaineering training and are looking for an easier climb. To reach in Yala Peak Base Camp from Kathmandu, we drive to Dhunche or Syabru Bensi, and then trek up the valley for five days slowly acclimatizing.
We view the Buddhist Kyanjin Gompa 3800m is situated below Langtang Lirung (7,246 m) and we spend three days acclimatizing taking day-hikes in spectacular surroundings. Exploring the Langshisa glacier to help us acclimatize, establishing a high camp at 4800 meters from where we make our summit push. After the summit the Yala Peak we return either direct to Dhunche, or via Gosainkund pass trekking to Helambu. Trekkers or climbers can also make Langtang Ganja la pass trekking after the summit the Yala Peak.
