Ghorepani Poon Hill is situated in the Annapurna Conservation Area Project. This 5-day Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is the easiest and most popular trekking route in the Nepal Himalaya for beginners. Trekkers walk through the oak forest full of birds, green hills, and mixed mountain valleys. The trekkers do not have any risk of getting altitude sickness while doing Ghorepani trekking in the Annapurna region. The Poon Hill Trek is one of the best-selling short treks in Pokhara. This trek is popular because of the great views and because it can be done in a short time. Starting from Nayapul, the Ghorepani trek follows the ridge of the beautiful Modi Khola. Then it crosses the Gurung villages and rice fields. It is a steep climb to Ulleri from Tikhedhunga, and it walks through the rhododendron and oak forest to the Ghorepani.
