Reviews

  • Kathmandu Valley Rim Trek

    - Tracey Smith, United Kingdom

Nepal did not disappoint! I loved this trek through the Shivapuri National Park up to Chisopani, on to Nagarkot, then to Nala. 3 days and 2 nights that get you away from the city and into the jungle. You can't beat seeing the local villages first hand to get an understanding of the resilience of the Nepalese people. Our guide and porter were brilliant, they looked after us to ensure our trip was a success. Sunrise in the Himalayas is magical.Booking was easy, even though this was a bespoke private tour. A quick message on the webchat, then Nirajan followed up on whatsapp to arrange everything. Highly recommend and will be using Rugged Trails Nepal next time we visit.

  • Three Days Kathmandu Valley Trek

    - Elisa Germain, United States

My daughter and I signed up for a three day trekking experience in the Kathmandu valley with Rugged Trails Nepal. I particularly liked that it was a private tour with our own guide and porter. In that manner, the trip was more flexible and customized with our particular situation and desires. Nirjan, the manager, organized the entire tour including our lodging and meals. We kept in contact easily through WhatsApp.

We had a wonderful time! Our guide, Dipak, and our porter, Shankar, were extremely professional and a pleasure to have accompany us. When we got stuck in the poring rain, Dipak was able to miraculously arrange transportation so that we could get to our next hotel before nightfall. I would highly recommend Rugged Trails to help organize all of your travels in Nepal.
